Opportunity to shadow previous winners of the Women's Prize for Fiction.

The Women's Prize for Fiction is the UK’s most prestigious annual book award celebrating and honouring fiction by women. Now in its 25th year, the Prize celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in writing by women in English from throughout the world.

To celebrate its anniversary, the Women's Prize for Fiction is asking readers to join in the #ReadingWomen campaign, reading all previous 24 winners of the Prize, before crowning the Winner of Winners later this year.

We have the exciting opportunity for three reading groups to shadow the previous winners of the Prize. Each group will receive a set of copies of three previous winners, which they will need to read and review over the summer. If your group would like to take part, please fill out the questions below. Books will be sent in June 2020 with questionnaires to fill in on each title. All questionnaires will need to be returned by mid-September.

We are particularly looking for groups with members that have been affected by Covid-19, as we want to understand the impact of reading, and the value of being part of a reading group, during this time. This includes but is not exclusive to: key workers, NHS staff, care home residents, sixth-formers or university students. If you're not sure if your group is eligible, email kathryn.rose@readingagency.org.uk.
