Destruction as an aesthetic and meaning
This is part of an ongoing enquiry into the significance people find in destruction.
Destruction, in varying degrees of magnitude, is such a fundamental aspect of our lives. It may happen right in front of you or intentionally instigated by you. It filters through the media spectacle of natural disasters or human action or entertainment. It is a fundamental building block of everything - construction, recycling, even just the sense of the present.
Often destruction is thought to be something society does and you are witnessing.
So the survey is intended to collect information on what is the personal significance of destruction before and after having destroyed something at Scrapclub yourself.
