GHS Sport and Dance Awards: Team of the Year

Question Title

* 1. Who whould you like to see win the Team of the year award?

Under 13 Boys Football

This team showed teamwork, desire to win and positive attitudes in their first season competing in 11 aside football together. They challenged at the top of the league for several weeks and were were victories over the eventual league winners.

An impressive team who will no doubt go on to win silverware for Gracemount in the years to come.

Junior Dance Team

The junior dance team came 2nd place (level 2) at the Edinburgh Schools Dance Competition with there dance based on legally blonde the musical.

Under 16 Boys Football

An exceptional team who narrowly missed out on winning the Lothians League by a mere 3 points. Runners up in arguably the most competative league in the district is an exceptional acheivement in itself. The team who showed talent and resillience throughout the season and will challenge for silverware again next season.

Senior Dance Team.

The senior dance team won 1st place at the Edinburgh Schools Dance Competition (level 2) with there dance based on Peter Pan. The squad also includes pupils who came 3rd in the choreography award at the same competition.
