We are currently undertaking research to determine how retailers are defining and using Fit Data, if indeed at all, and whether cross-departmental use of Fit Data can have a positive impact on retail businesses. This survey, and the resultant whitepaper, is investigating current practice in these areas.

What we mean by ‘Fit Data’ and 'Shopper Data.'
  • By 'Fit Data' we specifically mean biometric data (measurements), fit preference data and body shape data.
  • By 'Shopper Data' we mean returns, purchase data, social data, feedback and fit data i.e. a more all encompassing view of the customer.
Use of this data in merchandising, promotion and personalisation can increase sales, margin and satisfaction.
