Colocation space survey |
Working together – Colocation space development at York CVS
This survey is for professionals within the MCN network who are interested in being part of the Priory Street Hub. The deadline for completing this is 12 February 2021.
As part of hub development plans, we need to gauge interest in the potential to offer a co-location space through York CVS at 17 Priory Street. If there is sufficient interest, York CVS will then need to seek funding from Lankelly Chase as part of the hubs experiment group.
At this time, the aims of the space are to bring together professionals within the MCN network who are committed to changing the way we work to better co-ordinate support to people. The space that can be made available is Wi-Fi enabled with easy access to power sockets.
This is only one phase of ongoing work to understand how we could develop a hub or hubs for face to face work to help people access a range of help. In this experiment, this is about sharing an office, not about direct work with people needing support.
The initial principles of shared space are:
1. This is not just about free hot-desking space but a commitment to changing how we work
2. This commitment reflects a belief that siloed working limits our ability to help people, and impairs our ability to understand the barriers others within the same system face
3. We will be open to exploring new ideas together and in championing these within our organisations to help others understand how future provision could be
