The City of London Corporation (City Corporation) is legally required to promote the health and wellbeing of those living and working in the Square Mile.

Research shows that workers in the Square Mile tend to drink more than the England average, and are more likely to experience harm. The City of London also has a large and growing Night Time Economy*, which can affect the health and safety of those who live, learn, work and visit here.

We want residents, learners, workers and visitors in the Square Mile to be informed about the risks of alcohol misuse, so they can drink alcohol safely and receive the support they need, if required.

To support the development of this strategy we are seeking the views of our communities to help shape the actions and outcomes.

You can view the draft strategy here.

*The Night Time Economy is between the hours of 6.00pm to 6.00am
