Twins Trust Registered Clubs Best Practice Principles Form

As a Twins Trust Registered Club, we agree to operate by the following best practice principles which are:

To be inclusive, welcoming and respectful to anyone who wishes to join our club
To take our members views and opinions into consideration when deciding on the running of the club
To share information about Twins Trusts resources and membership with our members
To provide activities to cater for children of all ages from 0-5 years at our club aimed to stimulate and promote learning and fun
To set up the appropriate bank account to handle club funds and to ensure that at least 2 people are required to authorise payments on behalf of the club
To keep up to date with current legislation and to keep policies such as child protection, financial and data protection on file and available to club members
To adhere to current health and safety guidelines and to ensure the safety of our members is a top priority
To be an equal opportunities club
To make members aware when committee roles are available and to encourage members to become active on the committee
To run in a democratically and open way where by any member can put themselves up for election as an officer or co-ordinator of the club
To keep all toys clean and hygienic and to repair/remove any damaged to unsafe items
To provide a safe, happy and welcoming atmosphere so all our members can enjoy their time with us
