It's your Clarence Hall - help us secure its future

The Clarence Hall has been at the heart of community life in Crickhowell for over 130 years. It is now in urgent need of repairs and refurbishment. If nothing is done, it is likely that the Hall will close in three years for reasons of safety, depriving our community of a much-needed venue.

In order to bid for grants to repair the iconic building and to improve its facilities, the Trustees need to demonstrate that those people who will benefit from the project share in the vision, are involved in the design of the scheme and are committed to its delivery. Key to this is understanding how the Hall is perceived and experienced by the community to ensure that the proposed programme of improvements meets your expectations.

We hope that as many people as possible will help the Trustees to secure the future of the Clarence Hall by completing this survey. Without knowing what you expect from the Hall, it will be difficult to come up with the right solution. This exercise is designed to capture the opinions of the wider community in a structured manner in order to support various funding applications. It would also be hugely beneficial to know if you would like to be involved with the project as it progresses and how.

Please contact Marjivy Consulting on if you have any queries or if you require a Welsh language version of this survey.

Thank you in advance for your help,
