Children in Scotland’s Annual Conference: What’s next? aims to Reconnect, Reflect on and Reimagine what the children’s sector can be.Our priority is to ensure this event is informed by children and young people’s experiences. 

If you or your organisation is interested in contributing to our Annual Conference this year, we want to hear from you.  Please submit your idea below. Children and young people will be involved in the selection process. We ask that you ensure ideas are presented clearly and accessibly, without use of jargon.  

The deadline for submissions is 31.08.22.
There is no charge for delivering a workshop.
  
Workshop brief: 
On both days of our conference, participants will be able to self-select from a range of workshops run by you—our contributors. These workshops will be up to 70 minutes long, with a capacity of approximately 50 participants. Workshops that can be delivered in-person or online will be considered. We encourage submissions with a degree of interactivity and discussion built in for participants.
 
We ask that submissions relate to one or more of our conference’s key themes:
  • Children’s rights, engagement and participation
  • Education and wellbeing
  • Mental health
  • Disability inclusion
  • Supporting children in their early years
  • Climate justice and sustainability

Note: We welcome children and young people at the conference, however they can also contribute to your workshop without physically attending. Previous workshops have included: children’s feedback, views, ideas and evaluation, artwork, films, audio, podcasts, presentations, writing and many more.
