Thanks to a tremendous effort from lots of local groups, organisations, businesses and individuals Congleton achieved its aim of winning North West in Bloom in 2017 and now has the honour of representing the North West in the Britain in Bloom Finals in 2018.
Last year the In Bloom team carried out a survey to help us to understand what aspects of In Bloom are most important to you. The In Bloom judges have suggested that Congleton in Bloom needs to do more of the same. The In Bloom judging lasts for a day. We want the In Bloom efforts to be ones that are enjoyed by the town all year around.
The In Bloom campaign encompasses horticultural excellence, community involvement and environmental responsibility.
In this questionnaire we are looking to find out what In Bloom activities are important to you and how well Congleton caters for them, what public spaces you are aware of and visit, what In Bloom activities you are aware of and may be prepared to get involved with in the future. In some instances it is hard to separate the efforts of the Town Council's Streetscape Services who are responsible for the grounds maintenance, public bin emptying and keeping the town looking good and the additional work undertaken by volunteers and others to improve the town.
PLEASE help us to plan for and improve our services and the impact that Congleton in Bloom can have on our Community by answering this questionnaire. It should take less than ten minutes. We have asked for post codes just so that we can see if responses differ across the town. If you supply contact details it is because you have said that you are willing to be involved and would like the In Bloom team to keep you informed.
