Have your say on the location of the second Changing Places toilet facility at Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre.

A Changing Places toilet is more than an accessible toilet. Some people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well other disabilities that severely limit mobility, cannot use standard accessible toilets. They may need equipment to help them or may need support from one or two carers to either get on the toilet or to be helped to get changed. Standard accessible toilets (or "disabled toilets") do not provide changing benches or hoists and many are too small to accommodate more than one person.

Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre currently has one Changing Places toilet facility situated near the swimming pool.

The proposal is to have a second Changing Places at Westminster Lodge so there are two facilities for use by customers to the leisure centre and visitors to Verulamium Park. We are consulting on where the second changing places should be located. There are two choices indicated on the map above question 8.
