Cavan 2023 - 2027 LEADER Programme LDS Questionnaire

The LEADER programme has been operating in Ireland for more than 30 years and has supported a wide range of innovative and sustainable projects that have brought increased jobs and vibrancy to rural communities across County Cavan.  

The first principle of LEADER is the practice of a bottom-up approach ensuring local development is community- led.  This approach is defined by consultation, participation and local decision-making. The Local Development Strategy 2023-2027, which will underpin the delivery of the next LEADER Programme in Cavan is now under development.  Cavan County Local Development are keen to conduct a robust consultation process to ensure a broad range of views are taken into the development process.  

 

Your feedback will play an important role in helping Cavan County Local Development to identify the needs and the potential of the local area.  This is your opportunity to have your say on the Local Development Strategy and funding priorities for the next five years.
