If you look after (or are likely to look after) a family member, partner or friend in need of support or services because of their age, physical or learning disability or illness, including mental illness, we would like you to complete this survey.
Giving time to others is what an unpaid family or friend carer does every day of every year.

We need about 10 more minutes of your time to complete this survey so that we can understand better how to work with you to support you at home, at work and in your community.

A survey is only part of the picture and we will be inviting carers to talk to us directly either in small groups (possibly virtual) or in direct telephone interviews. Once we have a plan we would like to share that with you too.

In 2015 Carers Support West Sussex (the Charity), West Sussex County Council and all our health partners across the county made a commitment to carers and it is now time to renew that commitment and plan together for the next five years.

We know that caring can be both wonderful and tough. To help us support you better, we need to understand what would work best for you.

Thank you for everything you do for others and thank you for giving us the time to help us to understand what would make a real difference to you.

Sonia Mangan, Chief Executive, Carers Support West Sussex
Amanda Jupp, Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, Chairman of the Health and Wellbeing Board, West Sussex County Council

Survey closing date has been extended to 9:00am on Monday 28th September 2020.
