Self-assessment

Each year we report to tenants and other stakeholders on our performance in delivering the Outcomes and Standards detailed in the Scottish Social Housing Charter.

To enable us to do this, we first gather a range of information to help us assess whether or not we meet each Outcome or Standard.

Last year we consulted with tenants about our approach to this and, with our Customer 1st guiding principles in mind, we set out to Keep it Simple and to make sure our information was clear and easy to understand. It was understood that we needed to include our usual facts and figures but it was also agreed that we should look beyond these to tell the story of how we think we had performed.

We have now completed our self-assessment of the Charter Outcomes and a summary can be found on our website at Charter Self-Assessment.

The self-assessment summary represents our honest reflection of our performance in the year which was dominated by the Coronavirus pandemic. It acknowledges that there were some unique challenges for everyone; residents, staff and suppliers.

By strictly adhering to Government restrictions to ensure that everyone remained safe, some services were disrupted or delayed and there was a negative impact on some areas of service delivery. However there were also some positives and it was inspiring to see how many communities came together and adapted to provide support to each other and some of the most vulnerable.

We would now like to seek your views on our self-assessment and would ask that you complete this short survey. All respondents will be entered into a prize draw for a £30.00 shopping voucher.
