Covid-19 response: MyWorld 2021 calendar fundraiser

Cafe Art has empowered people affected by homelessness though art, photography and entrepreneurship since 2012. We have also helped them earn money from their creativity and from selling art and calendars.

Because of the Covid-19 crisis we can't hold the MyLondon project this year, or any of our regular exhibitions. Our art and photography mentoring groups are connecting online and on the phone with participants, but we want to look forward to later this year. Options include printing a 2021 MyLondon "best of" calendar and another one, called MyWorld, with the best photos from not only London, but all the cities who have replicated our project.

We'd love your opinion on a few new products. Because of social distancing this year, most will be sold online, initially with a Kickstarter, so that we can only produce what people want.

We will raise money for local Covid-19 homeless charities dealing with the crisis, and also help the participating photographers directly.

MyWorld greeting cards. A pack of 12 folding cards with envelopes with photos from London, Budapest, Sydney, Sao Paulo, New Orleans and Toronto.

MyLondon greeting cards. A pack of 12 folding cards with envelopes with photos from London taken in the annual projects 2013-19.

A 12-month monthly planner calendar. Just like the 2021 MyWorld calendar but with no dates/months so you can start on any month of any year!

12 postcards, featuring the same photos in the 2021 calendar (2 photos from each city).

Framable enlargements of any of the photos, printed with a certificate of authenticity. Sizes will be A4 (8"x12") and A3 (12"x16"). This will be printed on demand and mailed to you.

A beautiful MyWorld coffee table book with a chapter on each project, featuring at least 16 photos from those cities.

Please let us know if you know of any other product that we could produce and sell.

There are at least 300 photos from the calendars to vote on. For the MyWorld calendar, there will be two photos each from London, Budapest, Sao Paulo, Sydney, New Orleans and Toronto.

* 6. Physical calendars are becoming less used because of digital technology. Please let us know of any of the following statements you agree with.

I know wall and desktop calendars are used less, but I still use one.

I buy the MyLondon calendar but I don't put it on the wall (or use it).

I buy the MyLondon calendar but I do use it - I don't put it up on the wall though.

I find buying the MyLondon calendar is a great way to buy a unique gift.
