Introduction
The Winckley Square Community Interest Company (WSCIC) is here to represent the interests of the community and drive private, public and third sector partnerships to help improve Winckley Square and the surrounding area.
We passionately believe that Winckley Square and the surrounding area has the potential to be a historical yet thriving place for people to live, work, do business, learn and visit. And we believe, together, we can make that happen.
We started in 2011 with no money and a blank canvas. Our first job was to seek the views of the community to help drive our vision for the Square. This exercise shaped an ambitious, powerful yet sympathetic restoration of Winckley Square which was completed in November 2016.
WSCIC sees the completion of the restoration as the start, not the end. We are now in the process of drawing up a new manifesto that will build on our work to date. As we did in 2011 and 2012, we want you to have your say.
