In the next few months, Independent Age will be awarding around £250,000 in two-year grants to organisations working with older people across Essex.
The grants will have a particular focus on those older people living in challenging financial circumstances and facing inequalities.
We’ve already started engaging with strategic partners and other funders to build understanding and create priorities for our funding.
But we’re also keen to find out more about the variety of organisations that are already working with older people across the county, to see how we can add value through working in partnership.
To make our grants, we’re deliberately not using application forms. Instead, we want to develop our understanding through conversations.
