Bournemouth University Travel Plan Refresh consultation feedback

The university’s Travel Plan sets out a clear strategy for managing the future transport requirements of BU, while considering the university’s future development and growth. It encompasses a range of travel options for staff; students and visitors when travelling to campus, considerations to reduce BU’s impact on the local environment, as well as meeting the requirements for our Eco-Campus award and of planning requirements for our new buildings. 

The current Travel Plan runs until the end of 2018. Work is underway to review this to continue to provide sustainable travel options for staff, students and visitors, and to support the planned growth of the university. We would like your feedback on proposed objectives; improvements to current travel options and suggestions for improvements or alternatives which BU could consider implementing through the refreshed plan. 

We are holding two events for people to see our current plans and share their views. All staff and students are warmly invited to come along. 

The events are scheduled for: 

Monday 8 October (12pm to 7pm) at Talbot Campus, FG04 Fusion Building
Tuesday 9 October (11am to 6pm) at Lansdowne Campus, RG01, Royal London House 

Staff and students are welcome to drop in at any point during these times.
