What this Survey is About

Neighbourhood Planning gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the future of their local area.

Chalfont St Giles Parish Council is preparing a Neighbourhood Plan. The Parish became designated by Chiltern District Council as a Neighbourhood Area on the 20th December 2012, which marked the first stage of the Neighbourhood Plan process. Evidence gathering and engagement work has been carried out to date. Based on this, a draft vision and objectives have been prepared for the Neighbourhood Plan.

Chalfont St Giles Parish Council wish to be inclusive and open in the preparation of the Neighbourhood Plan. The purpose of this survey is to give the community an opportunity to be actively involved in shaping the draft vision and objectives.

Further consultation will be undertaken on the Neighbourhood Plan throughout its preparation and it will be subject to a local referendum before it can be formally adopted.

The survey is just one page and will only take 5 minutes.

The documents will be available online through the Chalfont St Giles Parish Council website, with the survey, which will be open from:

9am Friday 30th September until 9am on Monday 10th October 2016

Responses can be made directly online or on the public PCs in the Community Library.
The survey is anonymous; contributors' personal details are not collected and IP addresses cannot be identified.
