Relocating services from the RNHRD- Have your say

If you would like this survey or supporting information to be made available in another language, including British Sign Language, or in another format such as large print or audio please contact: email or Tel: 01225 824122

This survey relates to the Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Complex Cancer Late Effects Rehabilitation (CCLER) (including Breast Radiation Injury Rehabilitation) services provided by the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (RNHRD) Bath Centre for Pain Services (BCPS).

These services are located at the RNHRD (Mineral Water Hospital) in Bath. You do not need to have been a patient of this service to take part in this questionnaire. The survey will take around five to ten minutes to complete.

We're proposing to relocate the CRPS and CCLER services currently provided by the RNHRD from their current location at the Mineral Water Hospital site in Bath to a purpose built RNHRD and Therapies Centre on the Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (RUH) Combe Park site in 2019, and we’d like to hear your views.

Patients will continue to be seen and treated by the same team, providing the same high standards of care.  The services will still be located in Bath.

The new Centre will bring together a number of outpatient services from the RUH and RNHRD which support patients to live independently in the community, you can find out more on our website click here

Residential accommodation for those attending programmes will be provided in a separate, specially refurbished building on the RUH site. Located in a quiet setting, away from the main acute hospital building, it will prove single rooms, a day area and a therapeutic courtyard.

This is part of a careful and phased approach to relocating all RNHRD services provided from the Mineral Hospital site to the RUH or appropriate community based settings.

We welcome your views about how you would like to see the CRPS and CCLER services  provided now and in the future. Your feedback will help us in our planning to ensure we continue to provide the best service for our patients.

Please be assured the information provided by you in this questionnaire will not be used in a way which would allow identification of you as an individual.
