Introduction

The latest set of Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) Regulations have been in place since 1st June 2015. Included within the regulations is a requirement for the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) to review the regulations after five years to see if they've met their objectives. To help us do this, HSE needs to hear from COMAH-site operators who are working and using the regulations on a day-to-day basis, along with emergency planners and core responders involved in the testing of external emergency plans.

Please note that depending on your role, some questions may not apply to you.

We would therefore be very grateful if you would spare just 10 to 15 minutes to quickly complete the following brief survey about you and your COMAH 2015 site. All of the individual responses to the survey will be aggregated together and treated anonymously. Nothing will be used for regulatory inspection purposes.

This is your chance to make a positive contribution to the review of the COMAH 2015 regulations. Your input is vital and will be invaluable to us, so please take part.

We ask that contributors, where possible, complete the survey online, however to assist, hard copies are available on request by e-mailing Comah.Enquiries@hse.gov.uk These will be sent as an e-mail attachment.

Any problems, please contact Miles Burger on miles.burger@hse.gov.uk or 07798 882046.

The survey will close at the end of the day on Wednesday 31st July 2019.
