Welcome to the study. This will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. In it you will see a series of statements regarding the effects of different foods on stomach ache in a fictional patient and will be asked to rate the foods for their probability of causing a stomach ache.
Your participation is entirely voluntary, it is up to you whether to take part and if you change your mind, you can discontinue your participation at any point throughout the study by closing the browser window.
Please note that in order to take part you must be 18 years old or over.
It is optional to provide your email address; please note that if you have not provided an email address it will not be possible for you to withdraw your data once the study is completed as the responses are anonymous.
If you agree to take part, any personal information you provide will be treated as strictly confidential and handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
A summary of these data may be submitted for publication, presented at conferences and/or used in relevant future research, however no individual data will be identifiable.
This study has been approved by the Plymouth University ethics review committee.By taking part you will be contributing to research relating to learning and reasoning. There are no known risks to taking part.
