Introduction

Understanding engagement with and uses of online self-harm and suicide content: a qualitative study.
Thank you for your interest in our research project, which aims to explore the ways in which people engage with self-harm and suicide content online; whether they perceive this content to be helpful and/or harmful for them, and how these experiences change over time.

The study will involve taking part in 3 research interviews and, between interviews, keeping a diary with brief details about your online activities. In total, you would be involved in the study for 6 months. During this time, you will receive shopping vouchers as a thank you for your participation; of up to a total of £75 if you complete the study.
