A guided visit

You are free to explore the Farm Park, watch the demonstrations and meet the animals in your own time.

Animals
In this interactive, hands-on session, you will be introduced to a variety of animals on the farm! With different focuses according to your Key Stage Level, you will learn all about the animals’ features and how various breeds differ, their habitats, life cycles, how we care for them, their uses and why they might be rare.

Farming
In this session, through interactive, hands on activities, you will consider where certain items of food come. With different focuses according to your Key Stage Level, you will also learn about food production and will get involved with turning some of our wheat into flour! By thinking about what it’s like to be a farmer, we consider subjects like seasonality, sustainability and how (and why) farmers are looking after the environment.
