Community Safety Glasgow Community Enforcement Officers (CEOs ) are authorised on behalf of Glasgow City Council to enforce the littering and dog fouling legislation. They carry out uniformed and plain clothes mobile, foot and cycle patrols throughout the city of Glasgow and issue fixed penalties to those persons committing littering and or dog fouling offences.

As well as their enforcement role the CEOs provide public reassurance by patrolling within the mobile CCTV vehicles capturing images of antisocial behaviour and gathering information which is passed to our Police partners. Within the city centre the CEOs work in an ambassadorial role too by providing assistance to members of the public, businesses and visitors to the city.

We are currently conducting a short survey to measure satisfaction with the service and identify suggestions and areas for improvement. Please take 5 minutes to give us your views.
