* 1. When the CDM Regulations were brought in in 2015 the Government said they would result in savings of £19.6 million as a result of the reduction in the burden of health and safety legislation. At the time the then chair of the HSE, Judith Hackitt, said regulatory change would, ‘ … ensure that regulations are appropriate and effective ….all without compromising or diluting protections for workers’. We would like to know how far you believe these aims have been achieved.
