The Care Careers project aims to attract right-fit employees to the care sector and help employers achieve recruitment goals. As a foundation of project work, we need a clear picture of what employers view as ‘core competency’ requirements. In other words, what skills, knowledge, and attributes a person needs to have before starting work in your organisation. We have listed a range of core competencies for your consideration.
