1. Survey to gather views of local people about our services

About us

The Citizens Advice service has been supporting local communities in County Durham for eighty years now and our service has always adapted to meet the changing needs of the people it serves.

We have ten offices across the county, providing advice and support through drop-in sessions, face-to-face consultations, telephone, web-based, and outreach services delivered in communities. Last year we supported over 17,600 people across County Durham with a wide range of advice needs.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have temporarily suspended our face-to-face advice and increased our focus on telephone and web-based advice - in order to protect our staff, volunteers, and clients.

Why we are asking for your views

By completing this survey you will be helping us to develop and shape our advice services going forward so that they continue to best meet the needs of people in County Durham.
