Proposals for hosts of RItrain knowledge/staff exchanges Welcome Page We are inviting research infrastructures to submit brief proposals for hosting knowledge/staff exchanges in areas where they have expertise. The purpose of RItrain knowledge/staff exchanges is for managerial staff from European Research Infrastructures to develop managerial and leadership expertise in areas that are new to them, or that they feel their research infrastructure needs to develop specific expertise in, by making short knowledge-exchange visits to research infrastructures that are noted for their excellence in the same area. We use the term ’knowledge/staff exchange’ with a broad meaning and an event could take a variety of formats where delegates from RIs visit an RI with a specific expertise to gain knowledge, hands-on experience and/or exchange of best practice. Examples include representatives of several RIs collectively visiting one RI to meet and hear from their experts, or a knowledge exchange workshop with several RIs meeting together to share knowledge and discuss experiences and best practice. We would be interested in other formats that you may have in mind. The benefits of hosting a knowledge/staff exchange include:- increased recognition of the expertise of your RI - increased visibility to funders- contribution towards field activities in RItrain’s Executive Master in Management of Research Infrastructures (where applicable).RItrain (via Imperial College London) will cover subsistence costs for visitors (incl. personnel costs for RItrain non-beneficiaries).For more details please visit Call for RI staff exchanges We invite you to submit brief details of your proposal using this survey. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes of your time to complete; questions with an asterisk require a response. Please note, a 'call for hosts' requesting full details of a potential knowledge/staff exchange will be opened via the RItrain website in the near future.
