At the Historic Towns and Villages Forum (HTVF), we are currently planning a new programme of seminars and workshops for 2020-21, which will be online or in person as restrictions allow.

One of our key strengths is being an independent forum for local authority councillors and officers, consultants, town and parish councillors, civic and amenity group members, plus developers and investors to discuss knotty local issues and learn from elsewhere.  We provide a constructive, friendly and non-judgmental environment in which to explore and debate the challenging issues that managing our historic places generates.  We also provide opportunities to meet and learn from people pursuing interesting and innovative projects in some of our most inspiring historic places.

It is three years since we conducted our last member survey. We would like to update our knowledge of you and your interests, professional needs, challenges and successes, to inform our programme for this year, and so look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you.

Question Title

* 3. When we run online events, would you like support beforehand to make sure that you can join on the day?

This could be a simple checklist (e.g. internet access, computer or tablet, microphone, camera), and how the chosen programme works, including a test earlier that week to familiarise users with the format.

Question Title

* 4. When would be the best times of day for you to join online events?
We are assuming at the moment that they would last for around 2 hours maximum.

Question Title

* 5. Have you had successes or learned lessons that could help others in their roles, and what are these?

This might involve a specific project, new ways of working or collaborating, different techniques for engagement or finding common ground, or initiatives to change perceptions.

Question Title
