Have your say on our budget

The impact of the pandemic over the last year has been unprecedented. But together, we have reduced the spread of the virus, supported local businesses and protected one another.

Through these hard times we are continuing to accelerate York's recovery to deliver value for money services. Whilst we continue to provide support for those who need it most, successive years of Government funding cuts mean we are faced with a budget gap of over £10 million.

Our focus for the 2022/23 budget is to stabilise our financial position, allowing us to deliver services and support communities. We will continue our £500M capital investment programme to accelerate economic recovery, whilst continuing to support local residents and businesses and communities.

To help us make these tough decisions, we want to hear what's important to you. This survey closes on Wednesday the 8th of December.
