Bookbug For the Home - Inhouse training date request

Thank you for your interest in a fully funded Bookbug for the Home Training Course for your organisation.

Please complete this form to formally request a training course. We have a limited number of courses we can offer fully funded so we cannot guarantee your request will be successful. Training requests are reviewed in the last week of every month, and we will be in contact soon after to let you know about the outcome of your request.

Currently our training courses are being run online only. Please see the description of the Bookbug for the Home training on the Scottish Book Trust website for details.

* 3. Bookbug activities cannot be charged for, and must not be held in places which are only accessible by parents paying a fee or making a donation. They cannot be included as part of an activity, play group, or fun day that has a charge or requests or recommends a donation from families. Even the smallest fee, or the suggestion of a donation, would mean that some families would not be able to take part.

Bookbug for the Home Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be affiliated with an organisation, either as a member of staff or a volunteer, which will support the delegate’s use of Bookbug for the Home
Be planning to use the Bookbug for the Home approach to with families with children (0-5 years old), not just to children by themselves.
Be over 16
Be a member of the PVG scheme
Plan to start leading Bookbug Sessions either in-person or online within 2 months of the training session
Not use the Bookbug brand to promote religious, political or commercial groups or ideas
