Modern biology requires the management, storage, transformation and annotation of data in order to answer biological questions. This is known as biocuration. There is a large and diverse body of individuals and teams involved in these tasks. Across Europe and the world, there isn’t a clear picture of who does this work, how they do it, the tools and resources they use, or their training needs.

This survey forms part of an ELIXIR Implementation Study designed to map the landscape of biocuration, the resources and tools used and the training that is available and required.

The results will be shared at the International Society for Biocuration Conference 2019 and at the 2019 ELIXIR All Hands Meeting.

We greatly value your contribution and look forward to sharing the outcomes with you.
