Bradford District Shared Values

Bradford District Shared Values is a people-led campaign that inspires and aspires to get all communities and organisations in the Bradford District to live and celebrate the four human values that bring us together.

Bradford for Everyone listened to over a thousand people living in the Bradford District, who told us that by having a set of shared values that belong to us all it will connect us more, help us grow, shine and create the future we want to experience.

We know the Bradford District is a place for everyone, we celebrate our differences and always promote inclusion and happiness. The shared values represent the best of the Bradford District. By supporting the campaign and sharing the shared values with your community we hope to inspire others throughout the district to do the same.

By reflecting on who we are, our actions and what we do, these values will continue to strengthen the connection, love and bonds within and between the communities of the Bradford District generations to come.

The four values are:

Respect – We respect ourselves, each other and our communities
Share – We share ideas, resources, knowledge and skills as well as our challenges and opportunities
Care – We care for each other and treat each other with kindness
Protect – We protect each other and the world we share so that everybody can be happy healthy and safe

To help us measure the success of the shared values campaign, we are carrying out a pre and post survey and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking part.
