About This Questionnaire

 

This questionnaire is being conducted as part of a project which is investigating how people think and use different types of online resources. You have been invited to take this survey because you recently participated in the Opening Educational Practices in Scotland (OEPS) course "Becoming an Open Educator."

The research is being carried out by the Opening Educational Practices in Scotland (OEPS) project, which is funded by the Scottish Funding Council in order to build capacity and understand current practice in open education across Scotland. The results of this questionnaire will also be used to help improve future iterations of "Becoming an Open Educator." 

All the answers you provide to the following questions will be held securely and our data protection policy complies with the UK’s Data Protection Act (1988). This survey is using SurveyMonkey and any information you enter will be stored temporarily in the United States. By taking part in the survey you are consenting to any information that can identify you as an individual being stored in this way.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. All questions are optional and you can stop at any time by closing your browser. Completion of the questions in the survey that follows indicates that you have read and understood the above consent and consent to participate in this research. By answering the survey questions below, you are granting us use of your anonymized data for research and dissemination purposes. Upon completion you will be invited to provide contact details should you wish to participate in further research; this is entirely optional and these contact details will remain separate from your anonymized data.
