Grassmoor, Hasland & Winsick Parish Council is looking to replace the existing sports pavilion in Barnes Park with a brand new community sports facility. The existing pavilion is very outdated and is in a very poor state of repair. The proposal is to demolish the current buildingĀ  and replace it with a purpose built pavilion which will provide not only a base for sporting activities, but will also enable a range of other community based activities to be held using the pavilion as a base. The Parish Council is also considering providing public toilets in the Park.

The intention is to fund the new pavilion and the toilets using grant funding, including a grant from the Hasmoor and Grassland Big Local and also section 106 planning contributions. The draft plans for the new pavilion can be viewed via the link below.

The closing date for the consultation is Sunday 18th September 2016.
