CPR Mandate M101 Revision

The Construction Products Regulation (CPR) is currently undergoing review and as part of this there is due to be a revision of Mandate M101 for doors, windows and construction hardware. This is likely to have an impact on CE marking and harmonisation of products within the ironmongery industry. GAI is therefore providing this survey to its membership, to see what range of products its members feel should be covered under a harmonised standard as this will be a significant factor in the revision of the mandate. It will also assess member views on the necessity of CE marking itself. The results of this survey will be shared with BSI Committee B538/4 and ultimately with CEN in Europe.
