Have your say!
A community owned pub for Madeley?
For most villages a pub is its heart and soul. So many people move to villages for the sense of community. It’s the reason many people have made Madeley their home. The Offley Arms has stood in the heart of Madeley for over 300 years, without it we lose a vital part of our village. That’s why we’re looking to reopen it as a village pub run by the community.
Where do we start?
This questionnaire is the first step to making this happen. We need to know your views on what you’d like to see offered here and what would make you want to support us. Please be honest and realistic in your answers. Your response is entirely anonymous, unless you would like to share your name with us.
Of course, if you’d like to get involved tell us – we’d love to hear from you! Simply leave your details at the end of this questionnaire giving us an idea of how you’d like to be involved under question 7.
There will be plenty of opportunities to give your support from the initial setting up of the project to the ongoing running of the project and being involved in the day to day practical operation.
Questionnaires should be completed no later than Monday 14 October
The results of this survey will be published and presented to a public meeting when the proposal will be discussed further.

Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
