The hidden workforce: changing perceptions of the security officer

* 1. The BSIA is looking to move away from the term ‘manned guarding’ when referring to the provision of services by security officers as we believe it is antiquated term which does not represent either our diversity or the skills of our officers and we would like to hear your views on the following suggestions and for you to suggest an alternative.
