Introduction

Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time and knowledge to develop standards by becoming a BSI standards-maker. BSI is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community of standards-makers and welcomes all applications. BSI is obliged to ensure that all standards-makers have knowledge / experience which is relevant to the committee(s) on which they serve. Furthermore, we also strive to ensure that committees are diverse and have a balance of stakeholders. Finally, please note that standards go through periodic cycles of development and review so committees and their members may not always be engaged in an active process.

If you are an existing committee member and wish to join another committee please contact your committee manager. Do not complete this form.

If you would like to learn more about what it means to be a BSI standards-maker, please visit our useful resources page here.
