The British Society of Animal Science Early Career Council is organising a Mental Health Awareness Day for animal science PhD students in November 2019.
The aim of this seminar/workshop is to help current students recognise problems in their PhD that are affecting them or their work and share ideas of how to tackle them.

Stresses are inevitable in a PhD, but some issues can cause a significant negative impact on students' mental wellbeing. We have created this survey to gain an idea of the main issues during a PhD encountered by students which cause them significant stress.
The results will help channel the format of the Mental Health Awareness Day so it is as beneficial as possible.

The BSAS Early Career Council would really appreciate responses to this short survey from as many current animal science PhD students as possible.
