Nominate a local sporting hero, heroine or sports star!
Bury Councils Sports and Physical Activity Service have opened nominations for the 13th Annual Bury Sports Awards; a chance to celebrate those who have made an outstanding contribution to sport in Bury, or achieving personal success over the last twelve months.
There are nine categories which Individuals, Clubs, and Schools can be entered for through the nomination process, which are as follows:

The nominees of the Bury Sports Awards will be recognised at a special event on Friday 28 September 2018 at the Elizabethan Suite, Bury Town Hall.
Winners of the first eight categories will go forward to represent Bury at the Greater Manchester Awards on Friday 16th November 2018 at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.
We are inviting you to nominate an Individual, Club or School in any of the categories above for all of their hard work, dedication and achievements in the last year.
The deadline for nominations is Tuesday 31 July 2018.
