SMA National Stage Management Awards Nomination Form 2018
National Stage Management Awards are Supported by SMA and The Stage Supports, and Hosted by ABTT Theatre Awards.
This is the one time of year where Stage Managers can step into the limelight and gain recognition for exceptional or outstanding work.

Nominators may be subsequently invited to supply more information in support of their nominees.
Information for Nominators: - Nominations can be made by anyone within the theatre industry, i.e Crew, Producers, Directors, Cast, Managers, Front of House, Stage and Production Management.
- ASM's, DSM's SM's and CSM's are all eligible for nomination.
- You may nominate
An individual (A) (D) (C)SM and/or
An SM team
- for a single show or Live Event, tour de force, or a season.
- The nominator and nominee do not need to be SMA members. - The nominee may be part of any form of theatre or Live Event, ie. panto, rep, tour, summer season, west end, musical, drama, dance, outdoor or site specific event, etc. between 1 May 17 and 11 May 2018.
- Exceptional achievement and a legacy of work over an entire career can be recognised by anomination for the David Ayliff Award for Lifetime Achievement in Stage Management
- Students graduating in 2018 as stage managers from vocational technical theatre or stage management courses can be nominated for the GDS Student Achievement Award nomination for which must be submitted by their course leader or tutor (1 nominee per course).

All nominees and nominators will be invited to the awards ceremony taking place at the ABTT Theatre Show, Alexandra Palace, on Wednesday 6th June 2018. Nominations close on 11 May 2018
The winners of Individual, Team and the Student Achievement awards will receive a free SMA membership. If they are already SMA Members then the SMA Office will arrange for the membership to renew free of charge for the next period after the current membership.
