Spark is committed to constant improvement and innovation, whilst also ensuring we apply strong governance. A key part of our approach to governance is inviting our stakeholders to provide feedback on both the methodology underpinning the Spark benchmarks (Spark25S and Spark30S) and the eligible brokers that form part of the assessment.

The Spark methodology was designed following extensive consultation with the market but as the market evolves, we always welcome feedback and comments on how it can be improved. To that end, we are kicking off the first of our annual surveys where you can share any feedback you might have. The survey is open to LNG freight market participants.

This is an important opportunity to engage with you and your peers, and we look forward to receiving your feedback.

The Open Season will run until 1st October 2021 and we will aim to publish material feedback and potential actions by no later than 15th October 2021.
