BFI NETWORK x Film Hub Midlands is providing Midlands based film producers, directors and screenwriters the opportunity to spend 60 minutes talking with Holistic Coach and Mentor Jess Jones.

Working in film is fantastic, but it can also come with lots of challenges. The process of making a film whichever stage you’re in, from development to post-production, can often be a stressful time which brings to the surface all sorts of fears and vulnerabilities. Sometimes we all just need a little extra support so that we can process how we’re feeling, find tools that help us cope better, and build more confidence and resilience going forwards.

As we currently can't predict the level of demand for sessions the first round of slots with Jess will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. If demand is greater than our capacity we will move to an application assessment approach.

Through Coaching & Mentoring Jess can help you to:
  • Get clarity on your goals and the steps you need to take to achieve them.
  • Find ways to build more confidence and combat imposter syndrome.
  • Be kinder and more compassionate to yourself.
  • Find ways to build your resilience so that you can better manage anxiety.
  • Identify and clear creative and emotional blocks.
  • Manage your time better and be more productive when you are working.
  • Set healthier boundaries so that you can find greater balance overall.
How it works:

You will have one 60 minute coaching session via Skype. You will have filled in this short application before the session which will help Jess understand where you are right now, as well as where you’d like to be. These questions will also help you to focus on what you want to bring to the session, and what you’d like to achieve in your time working together.

About Jess:
