1. Introduction

The D/deaf and disabled community has played a fundamental role in the history of music, however there are ongoing concerns that people with impairments or long-term health conditions are not being represented in industry efforts to support diversity and inclusivity.

This short survey explores the challenges and experiences of today's generation of D/deaf and disabled members of the music industry. The results will be published as part of a wider consultation aimed at supporting a more integrated industry.

This consultation has been commissioned by Arts Council England and is the work of Harbourside Artist Management, a management company working extensively with artists with disability.

We welcome your responses to this survey if you work in the music industry at any level and also identify as having any kind of impairment or long-term health condition.

This survey supports JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver & TalkBack Screen Readers. If you require this survey in any other format please contact ben@harboursidemgmt.com
