Introduction
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council are currently in the process of reviewing and updating the assessment of needs for sport and physical activity facilities in the borough.
The purpose of the exercise is:
1) To identify the extent to which the quantity, quality, location and accessibility of sports facilities in the borough meet the needs of the community.
2) To identify and prioritise any required investment that will address existing and future deficiencies in sport/ leisure provision.
The views and aspirations of all the parish and town councils in Basingstoke and Deane are therefore of the utmost importance in giving us a representative picture of the facility needs in the area.
