Boris Johnson will make an announcement this coming Monday 22nd February which we hope will be a roadmap outlining our emergence from lockdown. It looks likely, according to some reports, that hospitality will re-open for al-fresco dining, and some non-essential public facing shops/services may also re-open.
Via the Visit Otley and Buy in Otley websites and associated PR and marketing, we’d like to hit the ground running as soon as possible if this is the case.
We’re assuming businesses such as salons, clothes shops, barbers etc will all open at the earliest opportunity and we’ll make sure that we give as much coverage to those sectors as possible.
When it comes to hospitality, it would be good to have some details in place about what facilities businesses have that can make an al-fresco experience more enjoyable at a time of year when the weather is likely to be inclement.
