Equal Power Equal Voice Mentor Register of Interest |
Register of interest
Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor with Equal Power Equal Voice.
Equal Power Equal Voice is an intersectional, cross-equalities programme that seeks to support and uplift people from under-represented and marginalised groups in Wales. Our mentors have as much to learn from the experiences of our mentees, as our mentees will gain from your knowledge and experience.
Our next mentee cohort will be selected during the summer and then we will pair each mentee with a mentor based on what area of political or public life they are interested in developing a role in. It is vitally important to the success of EPEV that we have a wide variety of appropriate mentors available to support our cohort. In order to make the best matches we ask our potential mentors to answer a few questions. If we have someone who would benefit from your specific expertise we will be in touch in September with more information about the programme and your mentee’s details.
• Mentors need to be available to meet their mentees for at least an hour, every 4-6 weeks, for the duration of the programme (September 2023 – June 2024)
• Mentees are encouraged to create one or two targets to focus your time together
• A mentoring guide will be provided and support offered throughout
