Level 1 FA coaching qualification with safeguarding and First Aid.

Veterans and Serving WIS are invited to join a FA Coaching Pathway specifically for them.  The 4 day course will be delivered at the H4H Recovery Centre, Tedworth House, Tidworth. Your accommodation and all course fees will be fully funded. Rooms will be available from 22nd of April. 
Transport to the course and your food during your stay is at your own expense. 
The course commences on the 23rd of April for 4 days. The sessions will be 9 to 5 each day with some practical sessions early evenings.
Please only apply if you are willing to commit to 100% attendance and will be willing to attend a coaching placement within a club to embed the training and for assessment purposes for a minimum of 18 hours over 6 weeks.  This club can be one of your own choice or one local to your home. 
If you complete the course and assessment you will then be eligible to complete the Level 2 Coaching qualification. 
There are various strands in The FA’s coach education pathway. The “core” strand comprises of The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football through to The FA Level 5 (UEFA Pro) in Coaching Football. The first step for new coaches is to take The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football. This course provides the beneficiary with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players from under seven to open age.

The course is coordinated by the FA delivered by professional instructors. You will gain hands on experience during a placement with a local club on completion of the guided learning.

Kit- Indoor and outdoor training kit (inc football boots/trainers)

As this is a residential course, you will need enough kit for all 4 days. You may wish to bring casual wear for down time.

* 16. This course is fully funded but the funding comes from a number of pots. For those of you who identify as WIS or have symptoms attributed to your time in service we access H4H funding.  To enable us to access this funding you will be required to complete a form in addition to the application form.  Please note failure to complete this form will result in you not being able to attend.
